About The Western States Sign Council

For over 30 years, the Western States Sign Council (WSSC) represents the interests of its sign industry members and affiliate sign associations covering Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. WSSC and its affiliates work closely with the International Sign Association for the mutual benefit of the industry.

Comprised of representatives from six affiliate associations, the WSSC Board of Directors leads WSSC’s endeavors in supporting, promoting and improving the sign, graphics and visual communications industry. The Board meets several times each year to conduct regular business of the organization and to plan fundraising activities in support of important sign industry activities.

Funding received from various activities is dispersed to the state associations of the WSSC for their use in educational programs, membership development, advocacy efforts with local and state governments, as well as other activities directly benefiting members of the industry.
